What is the difference between digital flexo printing plates and ordinary flexo printing plates? 1. Scattering and diffuse reflection is different The scattering and diffuse reflection of light in the exposure process is different, ordinary flexo plate in the exposure, ultraviolet light to pass through the vacuum layer, film base, emulsion layer and anti-halo layer, its total thickness is large, there are a more serious scattering and diffuse reflection problems. And digital flexo plate in the exposure, the light only through a layer of less than 0.001in the thick black coating, there is only a weak scattering and diffuse reflection phenomenon.     2. Exposure environment is different Ordinary plate making is exposed under vacuum conditions, while the digital printing plate is exposed in the air. Photopolymerization resin in the air and in the vacuum of the photopolymerization reaction mechanism is different, resulting in the printing plate dot shape, exposure tolerance and other properties of the printing plate is also different.   3. Point shape is different Dot reproduction range, ordinary flexo plate raised dot cross-section is round, the longitudinal section is trapezoidal, and the top of the dot flat, while the digital flexo plate raised dot is relatively small, and the tilt is small, the top of the dot is round, but not flat. The dot edges of flexographic plate for flexo printing are more rounded. And the edge of the dot on the ordinary flexo plate is clearly contoured. Clearly, contoured dot printing is easy to break the scratch, and the digital flexo plate on the dot, especially the high light point is not easy to appear in this situation, so the printing quality is good.   4. Different exposure tolerance The black coating on the digital flexo plate greatly improves the tolerance of the main UV exposure. Experiments show that the digital flexo plate main exposure time increased by 5 ~ 10min, the image on the printing plate part of the height of the bump without any effect, while the ordinary flexo plate is different, as long as the exposure time has a small increase, it will make the height of the graphic bump significantly reduced.  Exposure tolerance is conducive to the perfect shape of the dot.     Principle of Digital Flexo Plate Making Machine When making a plate, an infrared laser emitted by the image generator of the digital flexo plate making machine ablates the black absorption layer of the text portion, exposing the photopolymer resin layer underneath.
